The Big 100! (Giveaway)

Hey everyone! Today is the day of my 100th post, and as I look back on my blogging experience I have a lot to be grateful for. I've gotten to know some pretty amazing people through blogger, and come to think of many of you as friends :). I've prayed more since I began blogging, and cried for the sorrow of others, and felt more connected to other people and God Himself just by reading YOUR words. I'm one of the worst and most unreliable bloggers I know, but I do enjoy myself, and am planning on doing so for another hundred posts! And to show my gratitude to you, my forty-one forty THREE? (Thanks so much Jordan and Allie!) FORTY FOUR (Thanks Olivia too!! Wow :) Haha, I started writing this a bit ago and keep having to edit!) fabulous followers, I've decided to host a giveaway :). What am I giving away? Any pair of earrings from my Etsy OR $5 off + free shipping on a set(and my shop is about to begin rapidly growing, so check back often for new items!). Want to see some of the items you could win?

















How do you enter? The rules are simple!

1. You do NOT have to be a follower, all you have to do is visit my Etsy and comment on this post telling me what your favorite item is (required initial entry). Because my inventory should continue to expand, you are not 'stuck' with this item if you win-you can check out my Etsy again and see what your favorite is when the giveaway closes.
2. Following(and commenting letting me know you follow) gives you 3 extra entries (cause I love you that much!).
3. Posting about my giveaway, with a link to my Etsy, gets you two more extra entries-just comment with a link to your post so I can check it out!

So, if you comment telling me your favorite piece (required), follow my blog, and post about the giveaway, you would have a total of 6 entries! This giveaway ends Wednesday, May 25th, at 11:59pm. I'll announce the winner, as determined by random.org, within one week of the 25th(I can't say a specific day, because I'm going to be at the beach and then my grandparents, so I'll make sure I let you guys know whenever I have internet!), and the winner will have 3 days to comment/email me and tell me what item you'd like! Hey everyone! I deleted a non-post post so that this wouldn't be the 100th (I already have that one planned ;) ), BECAUSE I wanted to A) thank some awesome people and B) apologize for the upcoming week. First off, thank you Jo Bekah for your kind comment on Formspring, and Allie and Jo Bekah both for following (a compliment in itself!). I hope you enjoy what you find here :). I'd also like to thank Raja-man, Max(x5), Antonia, Hunger Games Lover, and Shaynie for your comments on my last post! I really appreciate it! Also, just a bit of good news, I sold my first item from Etsy, though not through Etsy (basically, someone I know in person saw the item on Etsy, then asked to see it in person(it was prettier than the picture! haha, told ya!), then wanted to pay with cash-works for me!). That is why the listing for these earrings is now gone:



-which leaves me with 6 items listed. Now, here's why I'm apologizing-next week is my world history final, in class, and it's covering a LOT of material, so studying will be a priority this coming week. Also, I've been making more jewelry for my shop (7 pairs of earrings, 3 necklaces, and 5 bracelets so far... yes, I've been a busy bee!), but as of tonight both my camera and my mom's camera decided to die, so I can't get any pictures tonight and can't go ahead and get the items listed, which I'd planned to do. My dad also said that if I picked up all the sticks and rocks in the yard, and mowed, he'd pay me some for it, but I have to do that tomorrow (or the offer expires), and I'm not letting that offer slide by. Getting my Etsy updated and taking care of world history are my main goals this week, beyond taking care of the yard, but I DO hope to post the big 100 by Sunday or Monday-so be watching for it! :D. I've Opened an Etsy! (and a giveaway? maybe?)

I hope you had a wonderful Easter everyone! In addition to receiving candy from my mother and watching Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince a couple times, and watching the Amazing Race and Celebrity Apprentice on TV, I didn't do much beyond mess around with making jewelry. I used to make it when I was a child, and thought it was brilliant, but I've stopped myself from buying materials for a couple years, telling myself 'you don't have money to waste' every time I was in a store with a crafting section. The other day my mom was getting my graduation picture custom framed at Michael's, EG, crafting heaven. Because my job kind of… dissolved, because I just wasn't 'wild and raunchy' enough, I've been running low on money, and been thinking a lot about getting an Etsy and starting the old jewelry biz back up. Standing in Michael's, I completely gave in, and decided that it was time to take that plan and turn it into action! My pictures are horrible, people, but I've opened up a shop on Etsy! I only have seven items listed now, but thought that was a good starting number (it's my lucky number after all! and yes, I'm unoriginal when it comes to lucky numbers)





I promise the pieces are prettier in real life (and kind of wish I could keep each piece, but am showing will power and selling them)! Anyway, if you're looking for some jewelry and have some time online, I'm keeping prices fairly low! The money will go toward my Food Fund-I can't currently afford the required freshman meal plan at the college I'm attending in the fall, which totally sucks xD lol. Anyway, just thought you all might be interested.
