Considering a Return to Blogger--Your Thoughts?
Hello everyone! I know it's been a really long time since my last post, but I kind of wanted to get an idea if any of you would be interested in me posting again. I really miss blogging regularly, and the friends I made here... so, if people are interested, I think I might start back up. I'm not sure if it'll be here, or with a new blog, but the main question I'm asking is simple enough: do you guys want me to start posting again? (if you even remember who I am XD). Please comment if you care to, thank you, and MISS Y'ALL.

Tagged by Stephanie!
1. Why
my last relationship ended: Eventually
my patience ran out, and I needed to separate myself from the stressor that he
had become... it was a shame.
2.
Favorite band: Possibly Muse, but as of late I've been on a major Elbow
kick.
3. Who
I like and why I like him/her: I'm
fortunate enough to like most of the people in my life right now, though I have
two friends that I'm closer to than most others. One, because he is my most faithful and
patient and supportive and fun and natural friend, as well as my first college
friend, and Two, because he's all around amazing and multi-talented and full of
God's love.
4.
Hardest thing I've ever been through: On
an emotional level, my suicidal period in high school. Physically, when I had a kidney stone.
5. My
best friend: Cody (or One from above)
6. My
favorite movie: Déjà Vu, Oceans movies,
Bourne movies, Up, The Dark Knight, and more...
7.
Sexual orientation: Straight.
8. Do
I smoke/drink? Nope, and I don't intend
to any time in the future.
9. Do
I have any tattoos or piercings? Just
pierced ears.
10.
What I want to be when I get older: A
productive and happy member of society.
11.
Relationship with my parents:
Complicated… practically raised my alcoholic mom these last couple
years, my dad's bipolar but thinks he's perfect… I love my mom, I really
do. It's just hard to handle them
sometimes.
12.
One of my insecurities: Feelings in
general. Because of my parents I've
learned to emotionally detach myself from negative emotions, and only allow
myself to feel when it is rational and productive to do so… which makes
romantic love kind of hard for me (though love in general, for some reason, is
easy).
13.
Virgin? Yes.
14.
Favorite place to shop: Heh. Where I'd like to shop and where I actually
shop are totally different places.
15. My
eye color: Hazel
16.
Why I hate school (or work): I don't… I
love it.
17.
Relationship status as of right now:
Eh. Single. Sort of.
18.
Favorite song of the moment: One Day
Like This by Elbow <3
19. A
random fact about myself: I'm taking
abnormal psych in the fall :).
20. An
age I get mistaken for: When I was a
senior in high school, I sometimes got taken for a senior in college, but at
that same age I got handed a kiddy menu once… so it depends entirely on what
I'm wearing.
21.
Where I want to be right now: My
college, with the people I love.
22.
Last time I cried: May 7th (because I
really miss someone who doesn't miss me… it's confusing), and before that,
April 22 (my kidney stone). Before those
two, it's been a while, I think...
23.
Concerts I've been to: None worth
mentioning… my dream concert is Muse though.
24.
What would you do if...: I really don't understand this question at all--I
second that Steph.
25. Do
you want to go to college? Haha, I want
to STAY in college!
26.
What's your favorite body part? On
myself? Probably my eyes.
27.
What's your most embarrassing moment?
Confusing the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution -.-.
28.
What's your favorite flower? Passion
flower, for sure.
29.
What's the shortest a person could be before you just wouldn't date them? Don't have a limit.
30.
How are you? Sick at the moment,
actually.
I tag anyone who wants to do it :). I'll give you guys a proper update later!

Some Pictures, a Short Film, and a Vlog--April 25th
Well, first off, I figured I'd just post some random pictures I've taken over the course of my second semester at college. My favorite shots are ones of my friends, but I don't want to post them without their awareness, so I'll keep pictures of others to a minimum. After the pics is a vlog where I talk about how I haven't done anything fun or interesting in a while... though, honestly, this semester really has been a pretty great one. I got pranked, went to the Hunger Games premiere with some friends, went to a reptile show, sorted through trash, got a JOB, held a cute little snake, found out I'm my best friend's best friend, and actually got some homework done. Also, as covered in the vlog, I was hospitalized and got beat up on a granite mountain. But you'll have to watch for more info on that ;). Without further ado, some pics.
If you care to see the short film, here it is. BEFORE WATCHING, read the following disclaimer:
I acted as instructed to act--frequently in an overdramatic fashion, with tantrum like moments, and my character was a bit of a hotheaded idiot. So yeah, there's that. Also, I managed to get punched between the eyes once, and punched my counterpart in the mouth at one point... so while no animals were harmed in the making of this film, students WERE xD lol. Overall, it was a lot of fun... I hope you enjoy if you watch it:
And, last but not least, the vlog with the latest updates from a sleep deprived Lizabeth xD lol. Here I am folks...
A prank someone pulled on me--yes, that is ALL OF MY BEDDING STAPLED TO THE WALL.
The quad on a lovely spring day.
At a festival, where I joined some other volunteers in sorting through trash cans for recyclables.
Myself and the egg I dyed on Easter.
An awesome Asian water monitor, on my head, at a reptile show.
A snake a friend of mine found while we were out by a local creek.
A picture my sister snagged over spring break, when we went hiking off the blue ridge parkway.
A anole found by that same local creek.
My knees after shooting the short film--later, the red turned to purple, then started to fade.

Questions I Ponder... (an old draft from 7/7/11)
Found this old draft today, thought it'd be funny to look back on and make commentary xD. Black writing is the original post, purple is my comments now...
Is wearing short-shorts immodest, or can they be worn when used in balance with a loose fitting longer top without compromising my personal standards of decency?
After being on campus and seeing the fad of Nike shorts w/ giant shirts... I object.
What on earth made James Cameron think he had the right to call Sanctum 'based on a true story'?!?! I was feeling so horrible for the families of the people who suffered such horrible fates, then find out later it was all fake. W.T.H!?!
Yeah, I STILL think that was totally wrong of him. Sorry, but the real events that inspired the film were so very, very different... though I've now managed to decide that I really do like the movie.
When someone is retelling a funny story, and they get something wrong, is it rude to interrupt and correct them, since it isn't life changing anyway, or is allowing them to make that mistake and mislead those listening wrong?
Still pondering this one.
How old was I when I figured out how to take my socks off while sleeping?
I don't know, and likely never will, but a funnier question is how many people are aware I do it... a friend, who I've napped with quite a bit, recently commented that we were way to close if he knew that I did that xD.
Should I take the time to write out my opinions on the symbolism of the movie I Am Legend and its alternate ending, which I've been wanting to rant about for ages, or would that bore people?
FINALLY, at college, I've found others who agree that the alternate ending is superior. I've actually had conversations about it without being shut down. YESNESS.
Does my college have a Bowflex treadclimber in its gym?
Probably, considering the 'gym' is an entire recreation complex that probably has it's own freakin' zipcode!
Why can't I tag the page of my favorite radio station in a status update on facebook?
iHeartRadio, my friends, iHeartRadio.
This fall I'll have the opportunity to completely reinvent myself-just how much do I want to reinvent? Appearance, outlook, behavior, beliefs?
Turns out I haven't really changed, beyond being... well... largely happier. More stressed, but happier, if that makes any sense whatsoever. I'm still me. And I'm glad for it. OH, finally learned about the ACTUAL theory of evolution, though... gotta say, I'm ticked that the theory I was presented growing up was a complete misrepresentation.
Am I the only person who thinks that zombies are people too?
I need to ask more people about this. Because it matters. To me anyway.
Australians DO use the f-bomb more than Americans, right? Because in the couple Aussie books I've read and Aussie bands I've listened to, it seems like it is a more commonly used word. Plus, Liam Hemsworth was totally dropping the f-bomb around 11 year olds… and I KNOW I've heard that Australians use it more commonly than Americans before. Anyone else heard that?
Still no answer on this one... Ayla, could you share any insight by any chance?
Have I taken my meds this morning?
Hahaha, I'm still asking myself this all the time...
Can you tell I pulled an all-nighter?
Guess what I'm doing right now.
Should I get off of blogger now? Yes, yes I should...

Long Time No Post! (A Quick Update)
Hey guys! It's me, Elizabeth... you know, that girl you used to hear from every couple days? Yes, no, maybe? Anyway, a lot has happened since I last posted, and a lot is going to happen yet--so much homework to be done, all the time. Primarily writing... which I do actually love. But I suppose I ought to start with an update from my last post. That exam I missed? Well, after a LOT of back and forth, I managed to convince my professor to let me retake it. It took me asking if a letter from the Dean would help, and assuring her he'd already offered, which he had, but she was convinced in the end. Also, I've begun therapy again, and my therapist is a riot. Seriously, we get along great, and I spend half of my sessions laughing at her reactions to my crazy life xD.
Also, work is going really well--I was offered a job with the service desk over the summer because she apparently really likes me as an employee. Which is what I'm most concerned with now--I'm going into debt pretty deep with my dad in order to stay here this summer and take one course... hypothetically, I could use my scholarship's study abroad stipend, but I don't want to use it now when I DO hope to study abroad at some point. So figuring out the financial side of this is pretty awful, because out of state tuition is INSANE. I am hoping, though, that it'll all work out... and soon.
As far as my personal life goes, I'm happy. There are still some things unclear for me, but I'm happy overall, and am, as always, grateful for my wonderful friends. I think I'm going to start posting pictures of random stuff in my life for you guys, so I can stay more connected even when I don't have time to write a full post. I'll try a couple out soonish and see what you think :). I hope you all are doing well, and that you find it within yourselves to finish the school year strong. Much love, wishing you well,
