Life IS Sweet DANGIT!

Hey everyone! Been at war with myself lately, because I've been swinging between 'so stressed I'm losing it' and 'having the best summer ever'. I realized I haven't done a life is sweet post this month, so I've decided to do it even though it is late-or rather, really overdue. So here it comes, the ten things sweetening up my life lately(ignoring all the crappy things, this is a pretty impressive list! :D):

Life Is Sweet

1. Spending time with my sister. She, my dad and I recently went to the US National Whitewater Center, and spent our time climbing their adventure courses, a little ziplining, flatwater kayaking, and whitewater rafting. It was a pretty amazing day :). AND, my sister is totally beast at EVERYTHING, including the rock wall and flatboarding (I didn't even try that one-looked like too much work to be fun). She and I both bought season passes so we can hang there whenever :D.
2. Spending time with friends. I got to hang out with my filming family, Megan and Caroline, a couple weeks ago, and it was a lot of fun :). I'm also planning on seeing Deathly Hallows part 2 with my bestie Kels, which I am BEYOND psyched about :D :D :D. I'm going to wear…
3. ...my Solemnly Swear Necklace! I just bought this epic necklace, and while I haven't received it yet, I'm in love with it. I've been wanting to buy it for weeks, but didn't want to splurge… then totally gave in :D.

4. I. officially. have. a. DORM :D. And a roomie, who has friended me on facebook! :D.
5. I finally was able to schedule a college move in day! YES :D. August 20th, I'm officially at my new home… hard to believe I'll finally be free ^_^.
6. I survived the previously griped over math test from hell. I didn't even almost finish it, because we weren't allowed to use calculators and I had SERIOUS summer-math-brain, but I did what I could and got my result, which was the math class they recommend I start with. Looks like I'll be taking a simpler math (which originally really, really bothered me), but oh well, like my mom said, better than starting off with something crazy hard :).
7. My TWLOHA Shirt!!! :D :D :D. I LOVE this shirt I got from To Write Love on Her Arms, SO much :D. And it fits perfectly! Pic from their site:

8. Reading. I've recently read Divergent (HIGHLY recommend-I really, really enjoyed it), Rot and Ruin (Tom was my favorite, with his katana and everything, but Benny eventually became tolerable when he stopped hating on the poor zoms), and Carpe Diem (I LOVED HANKS, and Grandma Gerd, and eventually Vassar :D. Great story! Thanks for reviewing it Shaynie!). I have a couple books from the library, but am unsure of what to read next, and was thinking about buying Delirium on my Kindle. Have any of you read Delirium? Thoughts? And here are the titles I've gotten from the library:
  • Warped by Maurissa Guibord

  • Teenie by Christopher Grant

  • Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys

  • The Iron Thorn by Caitlin Kittredge

  • The Latte Rebellion by Sarah Jamila Stevenson

Any thoughts on any of those?
9. The monetary rewards of filming-EG, my paychecks! They have finally started to arrive, and I am so glad. My bank account was running empty, but now it is running about half full (half of my ideal balance), which is a lot better.
10. And… my dad just baked cookies, so I think I better split ;).

What's been sweetening up YOUR life lately? I hope a lot :). Talk to y'all later,

EEE! I squealed when I saw the bit about your roommate, and moving in to college, because I am in the same boat right now :D :D I've been emailing my roommate and I'm moving in on August 18th. Exciting times!! [And YAY for finally getting out of the house, on both accounts ;) ]

Yay! I love to read your 'Life is Sweet' list.

As for #1- You have to request my brother next time you go. xD I'll have to pay a visit there myself and make myself sore or almost kill myself. Sounds like fun!

#3- I. AM.JEALOUS. Give me! xD

#6- I think you deserve medal. Math is a mad killer, but you survived! lol

#7- I love TWLOHA! I went to a goodwill once and found an mens one. I gladly took it, even if it was a mans shirt. xD

:D
I hope your summer is AMAZING!!!!

Hey,I can totally relate about that math test! For the BCA placement test, everyone else I know finished the test, but I skipped 16 questions haha. I'm in the lowest math but I'm not that mad about it because it's a sophmore level course. :)

OH MY GOSH TWLOHA. I love them. Sososososo much. I bought a TWLOHA bracelet at the mall but it was gigantic and I have tiny wrists and I lost it the same day I bought it :[ but I really want a TWLOHA shirt!

Talk to you later! :)

Haha, thanks Lia! Those posts really help put things into perspective, making that positive effort.
#1- Haha, I made myself super sore and almost killed myself, and it was FUN, so go for it xD.
#3- They're still for sale! :D Lol, kind of expensive though… I've been spending a lot of money lately, and don't have a job… so yeah. LOL.
#6- Thank you, thank you very much (applause). Seriously, I was near tears over the PRACTICE test, so forcing myself to sit down and take the real one was a challenge.
#7- I'd have bought a men's TWLOHA shirt too!
Thanks Lia :D. I hope your summer is pretty amazing too! :D.

Lauren- I'm glad/sorry you get it! Haha, that kind of assessment sucks (especially in the summer-I forget how to add 2+2 during the summer! It's pathetic!). Congrats again on BCA!
Man, that stinks about losing the wrist band. I have tiny wrists too, and generally skip out on bracelets and stuff other than stretchy beaded ones I've made myself, and that watch I bought a while back which is actually small enough.

We're moving in two days, so the end of packing and such is in sight! I hope you have a good Fourth of July, Elizabeth. :)

hey elizabeth! I answered ur question about the playlist! visit the 'playlist' page on my blog for the song criteria!

@Max-that is definitely something sweet! I hope that moving day goes smoothly :). And thanks, Max-I hope your Fourth goes great as well :).

@Raisa-thanks! I'll go check it out now!
