Yesterday I got something in the mail. From the library. And it said something along the lines of "Your book has been overdue for more than 28 days" which made me freak, then I remembered I'd checked it out before we left for somewhere and totally forgotten about it. Whoops. '
At least they only charge a dime a day, I mean, I can probably dig up 2.80 in change' I thought to myself, and then I continued reading the notice. What was the fine? $17.99. 18 dang dollars. I went temporarily insane, raving about how they never called or emailed me about the book, and it would probably cost less to claim that I'd lost the book and pay THAT instead of 18 dollars. So I hunted it down, searched all over my room, found it under a pile of school crap on my dresser, and checked the price: $17.99. So. That actually made sense… yeah. I'm hoping to have that straightened out
tomorrow soon, tomorrow I'm getting my wisdom teeth out. But it reminded me of my favorite comic strip, Pearls Before Swine:

Yeah, pretty much.

@Antonia-Thanks!
@Shaynie-LOL, they might not! I think one of them will like me regardless, she is so sweet and we talked a lot when I volunteered at the book sale. There are a couple (especially this one) that I personally hope are not behind the counter when I go in there… I have a feeling they wouldn't care at all how I feel about it. And thanks! I wasn't too worried about the surgery, just worried about being abandoned afterward… LOL XD. Turns out all four of my teeth were grown into the bone, and had to be sawed out… my head looks like a basketball because I'm so swollen! It is actually kind of fascinating to look at it… I feel like I'm in someone else's body! :D lol. Thanks for your well-wishes! :). And sorry for the rambly comment on Journaling Journeys… I probably shouldn't be online when I'm on pain meds XD.
@All three of you-Thanks again for commenting! :D
